What is going on with our culture? It happened again on Friday night. In what has become an almost weekly ritual, comedian and talk show host Bill Maher went after the insane ideology coming from those on his side of the political spectrum. A leftist launching an all-out attack on the left. Only a few years ago, such developments would have seemed unthinkable. Then again, only a few years ago leftism hadn’t gone entirely off the rails yet.
During one of his monologues on Friday night, he didn’t just take on Cancel Culture, Maher took out his jesting club and absolutely clobbered it. Take a look:
After citing examples of the absurd levels of intolerance overtaking the left in their efforts to force their values down America’s throat, Maher let loose:
“A sense of entitlement certainly is a big part of the problem here, but not on the part of the comedian. And that’s the thing. The people who can’t take a joke now aren’t old ladies in the bible belt, they’re Gen Z at elite colleges. Colleges, where comedy goes to die. Kids used to go to college and lose their virginity. Now, they go to lose their sense of humor.”
You absolutely nailed it, Mr. Maher. Let’s give credit where it is due, and Maher certainly is worthy of praise with his rant. Showing not only the derangement (continued)
