Can Mitch “the RINO” McConnell be trusted to stand up for conservative interests and the values that his ruby red voters presumably elected him to fight for when he ran as a Republican?
No, no he can’t. His spine is weaker than overcooked spaghetti and Mitch rarely has the guts to stand up to the radical left on anything other than judicial appointments.
For some reason, he takes that issue seriously and fights as he should but can’t take that attitude and apply it to other areas, as we saw when he shamefully retreated on the budget issue.
So, it should come as no real surprise that now Mitch has thrown financial support behind another anti-Trump RINO, Liz Cheney, and is trying to keep that Never Trumper in the House instead of replacing her with the more conservative, pro-Trump and Trump-backed Harriet Hageman.
How has he done so? By donating to Liz Cheney’s campaign, something with will not only give her financial support, but also give her the supposed prestige of being supported by the Senate Minority Leader, a bit of prestige that could help her keep a hold on the Conservative, Inc.-type Republicans.
.@LeaderMcConnell says he’s contributed to @Liz_Cheney’s re-election campaign but asked if he’d hold/ participate in fundraising & other campaign events, he tells @jonathanvswan he’s “focused on the Senate”

Breitbart, reporting on the other swamp creatures that have thrown their weight behind Liz, notes that:
McConnell and Cheney apparently believe the Wyoming member may lose her seat to Trump-endorsed Harriet Hageman, a strong threat to the establishment Republican order in Washington, DC. With Hageman catching momentum heading (continued)
