It feels like forever and six cities ago, but last week I was honored to accept the Frederic Coudert Jr. Award at the New York Young Republicans gala in Manhattan.
Coudert was particularly well known for his ruthless persecution of communists in the 1940s, and especially in education. I can only hope to live up to such an award, and I remark on the education element in my brief acceptance speech, below.
Additionally, I was delighted to announce today that following the raging success of their gala (and not just because they gave me an award!), the New York Young Republican Club are this year’s Patriot(s) of the Year – our third, annual issuance of the prize, via The National Pulse.
P.S. Between now and January I’m on a couple of “assignments” so I may be a little quiet. But, as you will no doubt see, the wait and the absence will be worth it.
